I have been listening to a lot of mellow classic rock lately. It reminds me of my first couple of college years, where I would just drive around blasting this kind of music. For some reason, it is comforting to me this time of year. The weather is making me depressed, and I don’t want to listen to anything that is too happy to try to combat it. It seems disingenuous. This playlist isn’t necessarily sad, but it’s not over the top, either. It’s just middle of the road, which is the space in which I am operating. Hopefully, you find some comfort from the winter blues here, too.
