I am making a well known southern dessert today - chess pie. I don’t really love making pies, so before I start, I made myself a southern cookin’ playlist with some of my favorite classic country songs to listen to as I bake. I love singing and dancing in the kitchen, so I hope these old songs make the pie process more fun! I am going off of an old recipe written down by my grandma, so I will post the recipe if I can do her handiwork any justice. Enjoy this playlist with any southern comfort food, and be glad that you can’t hear me singing along to every song at the top of my lungs. Because even though I love to sing, I think that Walter is the only person who can stand to listen.
