Ayyyyyy! I am back with another edition of Friday Faves. We have done some really fun stuff on the blog this week, and if you haven’t already checked it out, I suggest scrolling back just a little. Yesterday, we had Caroline’s interview with Emily Roggenburk and Wednesday I put up a guide to personalizing your rental space. Can ya dig?
Walter and I are going to see Us tonight (spoiler, we write these the night before they go out) and I am so scared. It’s all foggy today and it just seems like if something spooky was going to happen, I am sure setting it up nicely. Based on how much we loved Get Out, let’s just make Us an honorary Fave for Friday. I was surprised by how many of you that we polled said they can’t do scary movies! Caroline doesn’t like them, either, so I guess we represent both ends of that spectrum.
As always, clicking the photograph will link you to the product so that you can check out the details for yourself. TGIF and have a wonderful weekend, y’all! XOXO
GUYSSSSSSS. A while back, I wrote about a documentary that I had watched on HBO called Mommy Dead and Dearest. The Act is a new Hulu show based on that case and it is WILD. Caroline and I are both already hooked. The story is PSYCHOTIC - a young girl named Gypsy Rose is living with multiple life-threatening conditions with her mother who is her full time care taker. JUST KIDDING, she’s completely healthy and her mom is making all of this up and torturing her. It’s so, so, so well told and well acted. Check out the first two episodes available on Hulu, and the doc on HBO.
All of you follow Baddie Winkle on Instagram, right? I became aware of her a few years ago, when a friend of mine from elementary school linked me to her profile and said “THIS IS 100% YOU IN THE FUTURE!” I will take that as a compliment, because just look how freaking fly. Granny has serious game. She is so fun and I love her carefree attitude toward life and style. If you aren’t already following, get on the train.
I have gone back and forth on the Fila Disruptors for a long time. Of course, I love how obnoxious they are. I go back and forth between wanting to dress like Ariana Grande and Shia LaBeouf. I think this lime color might have sealed the deal and that I need to cop a pair.
Is it psychotic and stalker-y to put someone else’s bathroom on your list of favorite things? I just look at this probably twice a day. I’m not kidding. I am SO obsessed with everything. Don’t be shocked if I completely copy this in Walter and my forever home. I need it.
I am absolutely obsessed with taking Instax pictures. They are all of the memories that you don’t see, but Walter and I want to keep for ourselves. Nothing curated and Instagram worthy, just special moments just for us. We even took Instax pictures when we eloped for our wedding album! I love this rainbow film, it just adds something fun and out the norm to the equation. Maybe one day I’ll share more of Walter and my Instax photos on the blog!
That’s all for this week! Have a great weekend!
